ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION(05.02.2019)
On 5th Feb, 2019, Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar hosted its Annual Sports Meet during school hours in the school ground, a day filled with fervor and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The aim behind holding the event was to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness of sports in children.
The Chief Guest for the day was his excellency Mr. Ola Jasson from the Embassy of Nigeria, Guest of Honour were Mr. & Mrs. Gaurav Gupta, President of Rajasthani Academy and the Special Guest for the day was Ms. Parull Mahaajan, President of Lions Club, Delhi.
Worthy recipient of ‘Udbhav Sanskrit Samman’ honourable Director of School, Shri Anurup Sharma along with the Proud recipient of numerous prestigious awards like Guru Drona Award 2018, 2018 Global Human Rights Protection Award, Swachch Vidyalaya Puraskar 2017, Certificate of Appreciation on participating in International Humanity Olympiad and Certificate – Ozone Cell by Ministry of Environment, ever dedicated Principal of the school Dr(Mrs) Urmila Sharma welcomed all the guests and gave the day a mesmerizing start.
Gracious Head Mistress Ms. Saumya Anurup Sharma, respected Academic Advisor Mr. S.P. Sharma and revered Academic Proctor Mrs. Prabha Garg also graced the occasion.
The event began with the National Anthem followed by the March Past. All the distinguished guests and dignitaries of the school took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by school band. The Sports meet was declared open formally after torch lightning. Further to make the occasion more serene ‘Ganesh Vandana’ was presented by a group of students. Students participated with great zeal in events including various drills and races. Prizes and Medals were distributed at the conclusion of each event and the dance performance based on ‘Sports’ theme by a group of students gave the event a grand ending.
The event then concluded with the speech of the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests, praising the endeavour of the school. Shri Anurup Sharma, Director of the School also encouraged children and advised them to keep up their sportsman spirit. The Principal of the esteemed institution thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and inspired the students with her kind words. Head Mistress of the school boosted morale of the students with her eloquent words. School’s Academic Advisor also persuaded the students to always stay positive and spirited. Academic Proctor of the school too thanked everybody and highlighted the necessity of sportsmanship in one’s life.
With this, a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and cherishable memories came to an end.
INTERSCHOOL ATHLETIC MEET(21.11.2018)
Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar hosted “Edusports School Games – Interschool Athletics Competition” on 22nd Nov, 2018 for the students of Primary Grade. Keen motive behind this initiative was just to encourage the budding athletes, give them a platform to showcase their skills and to promote athletics.
Event was opened by the honorable dignitaries of the school, i.e, by the School Director Shri Anurup Sharma, Principal Dr(Mrs) Urmila Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Saumya Anurup Sharma, School Academic Advisor Mr. S.P. Sharma and Academic Proctor Ms. Prabha Garg. Varioius schools from Delhi/NCR participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. School ground turned into a stadium filled with spirited and highly energetic individuals depicting their athletic skills. A number of races took place such as Bull Race, Run for Fun, Save your Earth, Kangaroo Race, Warrior Dash and Jungle Race.
At the end of this zealous athletic meet, scores were tallied and winners were given trophies and medals by the school Director, Principal, Head Mistress, Academic Advisor and Academic Proctor. They then concluded the event with their awe inspiring words to inculcate fair competition and to build team spirit amongst the students for their fine physical and mental health.
GAIETY FEST IN ARWACHIN(14.11.2018-16.11.2018)
There are some things in life which we can’t buy and one such thing is ‘Innocent and carefree spirit of Childhood’.
Celebrating childhood, Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar, Delhi organized Gaiety Fest from November 14, 2018 to November 16, 2018 to mark the celebrations of Children’s Day and birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of free India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
The students of class I to XII enjoyed their hearts out in Bal Mela on three different days. Nov. 14 2018 was for class IV to IX, Nov. 15 was for Class I to III and on Nov. 16, the teens of class X to XII had fun and frolic at various stalls of eatables, games and swings. The stalls were managed by the teachers and students were only to enjoy dainty dishes eatable stalls, mind boggling and entertaining games and swings that guaranteed cent percent gaiety.
The Principal, Dr. Urmila Sharma was a part of celebration on all the days ensuring quality-check personally and she, alongwith the Director, Mr. Anurup Sharma declared the winners of Lucky Draw from each wing. The head mistress Ms. Saumya Anurup Sharma was also among the dignified presences
Ms. Prabha Garg, The Academic Proctor also praised the staff members for their meticulous efforts in arranging the event. The capering and cavorting children celebrated their day in true spirit.
EDU SPORT ORIENTATION(29.09.2018)
On 29.09.2018, Saturday, an Edu Sports Orientation Programme was organized in the premises of Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar by the Edu Sports team. The orientation for the teachers and parents aimed to showcase the Edu sports games and techniques to all. It is noteworthy that Edu Sports team plans activities and games with special props for Nursery to V. So, as to build their stamina and make them physically fit and active.
The parents participated in the cleaning of house, Basket ball deibling, Parashute play, Aerobics and fitness circuit games and like flip the soccer cone, caterpillar pace, Hit the target and skit the hoop rejuvenated the spirits of teachers the enthralling aerobics mesmerized all.
School Director, Mr. Anurup Sharma and Principal, Dr. Urmila Sharma addressed the audience with their encouraging words. They reminded that a healthy mind reside in a healthy body and the Edu Sports team supports this with their special work techniques which is praiseworthy.
LIBRARY FEST(25.09.2018-29.09.2018)
A library can be considered a store- house of knowledge. A library renders a great service to the society and plays a vital role in promoting the progress of knowledge where in schools, library has great significance as-
“Schools without libraries are like plants without sunshine”.
To celebrate this, Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar, recently organized a week long ‘Library Fest’ which commenced on September 25, 2018 in school premises. Fest was inaugurated by hon’ble school Director Mr. Anurup Sharma, Principal Dr. Urmila Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Saumya Anurup Sharma and school Mr. S.P Sharma.
Book fair organized in the school gave an opportunity to the young readers and intellects to explore and give new wings to their knowledge. All the students were given a complete tour of the display and many activities were conducted in the library.
Library turned into a spirited place full of zealous students from all the classes participating in supremely interesting activities like Cartoon Making activity conducted under the expert guidance of renowned cartoonist Mr. Ajit Narayan, Storytelling, Book Mark Making, Book Cover Lage Designing and Mask Making are some others activities which are conducted in the following days of fest.
Some budding artists of the school showcased their brilliance and devised incredible pieces of art. Many passionate story tellers also came in being. This fest gave young talent a great platform to showcase their skills and a wonderful experience which in turn must have given new hopes to their aspirations and goals in life.
The fest closed with extremely motivating, encouraging and wise words of the school Director and the Principal. They addressed the students and enlightened them about the essence of books and library in a student’s life and boosted their morale to keep their passion and love of art and books alive always.
Library fest came in being and turned into a complete success under the leadership of Mr. Vinod , his continuous efforts and hard work made it possible.
JANAMASHTAMI CELEBRATION(01.09.2018)
Nur –II celebrated Janamashtami with great fervor and gaiety on Sept 1, 2018 in the premises of Arwachin. The children of class I had performed a skit on the birth of Lord Krishna. Tiny tots of pre-school came dressed in traditional attire children of pre-primary and class –II merrily performed dance to the tunes of devotional songs. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colourful. At the end, children rocked the cradle of Lord Krishna .Principal Ma’am Academic Proctor and Mr. S.P.Sharma wished and blessed the children.
CO-SCHOLASTIC EXHIBITION(26/07/2018 -27/07/2018)
Arwachin School organized an exhibition where work of students was displayed. Students have prepared various models for co-scholastic areas like Music, Drawing, and Sports & Computer. The exhibition was inaugurated by school Director Mr. Anurup Sharma and Principal Dr. (Mrs) Urmila Sharma, Headmistress Ms. Saumya Anurup Sharma was also present on this occasions. Academic Proctor Ms. Prabha Garg curated the exhibition. The efforts made by the students were applauded by one and all present there. The key objective of this event was to bring out the creativity of the students.

Our environment is going through a difficult phase. Drastic changes are vivid now. We as an organization decided to do our bit in saving the precious soul of our mother earth by conducting a huge Tree Plantation Drive from 1.8.17-14.8.17. The whole school partook in it. Students brought one sapling from home and planted them in school and areas around with the help of their teachers and school gardener .
LIBRARY FEST
Library is an integral part of every school. To induce reading habits and to create an interest in students for reading a LIBRARY FEST was organized in school from 21.8.17-26.8.17.

ARWACHIN SUMMER CAMP 2017-AN OCEAN OF CREATIVITY(15.5.17-31.5.17)
The school organized “SUMMER CAMP” for school students and outsiders during the Summer Vacations from 15.5.17-31.5.17 from 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.Students were divided in two groups- Group A- Nur-III; Group B-IV –IX. A wide array of music, dance, sports ,art and craft activities was presented to the students.
VAN MAHOTSAVA CELEBRATION

As a part of Van Mahotsava Celebration ‘Go Green Day’ was celebrated in the school premises, to support the cause of reducing carbon footprints and a thanks giving to the nature. A special assembly was organized, which was graced by the talks, dance performance and a motivational skit of the little angels. This was followed by the “Plantation Ceremony”. The event was appreciated by everyone and ended up being a great success.
POEM RECITATION COMPETITION
(NUR-II)
DATE-14.07.2016
To explore and encourage the speaking skills and confidence in children, an Inter Class Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was organized in the premises of school. Children participated earnestly in the competition. They came up with different poems and recited with enthusiasm. It was very difficult for the judges to decide the winners as the tiny tots were wonderful judges appreciated every participant as they announced the winners.
SELF DEFENCE CAMP IN ARWACHIN-2016
The school organized a self defence workshop on 26.04.2016 for girl students in association with Fame India. Approx 350 girls from Class VIII to XIII were taught awareness, assertiveness safety strategies and physical techniques that would enable them to successfully escape, resist and survive violent attacks.
MOCK DRILL-2016
As per the circular issued by the D.O.E ,a Mock Drill was conducted for enhancing preparedness to overcome any natural disaster or fire accidents. This year the drill was conducted on 25.04.2016 to make Ist Anniversary of Nepal Earthquake of 2015. Arwachin School conducted this drill in the school premises at 11:00 AM where evacuation time was recorded and corrective actions were taken to ensure the safety and security of the students.
EARTH DAY CELEBRATION-2016
A special assembly held at 22.04.2016 on the occasion of Earth Day. Talk by the teacher and the students were presented to enlighten the students about the various issues like carbon footprint, global warming, climate change etc. Students of class IX-X also presented a skit depicting measures we can take to save our earth. Students also took pledge to do their bit to save mother earth.
W H O DAY CELEBRATION - 2016

Keeping this spirit alive Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Vivek Vihar celebrated W H O Day in school premises A special assembly was organised for the day on 07.04.2016.The student were enlightened about the importance and functioning of W H O in a ‘Teacher Talk’. The school physician Dr. Suman Seth awared student about the theme of W H O day 2016 to be “ combating Diabetes and its staggering burden particularly in low and middle age”
Quoting Jim Rohn in her eloquence-“Take Care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live in”
The Principal Dr. Urmila Sharma beckoned students to maintain healthy and hygienic habits. The School Director Mr. Anurup Sharma also graced the event. He echoed Mahatma Gandhi when he said that-
“It is health that is real wealth and not the pieces of gold and silver”
The Academic proctor, Ms. Prabha Garg further informed the students about the role of W H O in eradicating Polio and small Pox in her speech. Officiating Head Mistress incited all the teachers and students to maintain a healthy lifestyle by avoiding junk food as we must not feed but fight diseases.
After the Special assembly a Debate Competition was also organized to mark the day. The topic was- “Does Dieting really help to groom our Personality”
The Students of Class IX spoke their hearts out. They reflected various myths and aspects of dieting in our society .Out of 16 participants Tejaswini and Anshika of IX –A bagged first position. Jaishree and Teesha of IX –B stood second. The winners were congratulated and participants were motivated by one and all.
